Continuing the Integrated Supply Chain Management Concept

Core Principles of Integrated Supply Chain Management Integrated Supply Chain Management (ISCM) is built on a foundation of core principles that guide its implementation and ensure the attainment of sustainable value. One of these principles is the concept of the remote cause, which emphasizes the importance of conducting a thorough review of all established norms, processes, and procedures before initiating any activity. Thailand has implemented a new regulation for international visitors that they must adhere to.

Starting from May 1, visitors must fill out an electronic entry form online prior to their arrival in Thailand as per the updated regulations.

The FCDO has revised its guidance to alert British travelers that they must fill out the form.

As of 1 May 2025, all international visitors arriving in Thailand—whether via air, land, or sea—will be required to fill out an electronic arrival card prior to their entry into the country.

'Visitors have the option to apply for an entry form up to three days prior to their arrival.'

The Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) has taken the place of the traditional paper arrival cards that were once completed by visitors.

Visitors must furnish their personal data on the TDAC along with specifics regarding their duration of stay and where they'll be accommodated.

The shift occurs as tourism in Thailand is anticipated to rise following its appearance in the most recent season of HBO’s The White Lotus.

Hawaii and Sicily, the settings for the initial pair of series, both saw a surge in tourism following their feature on screen.

According to data from Hotels.com , Four Seasons in Koh Samui saw a 40 per cent increase in interest after it was announced as the filming location for White Lotus season 3.

In 2024, Thailand saw more than 35 million tourists, and the nation is targeting around 40 million arrivals for 2025.

British visitors from the UK can presently stay in Thailand for up to 60 days without needing a visa, but the nation apparently intends to reduce this period down to just 30 days.

The country's Minister of Tourism and Sports has warned that the visa exemption time could be cut.

This follows reports from the Association of Thai Travel Agents that there are a growing number of foreigners working illegally in the country while there as a tourist.
