Vice president JD Vance has cautioned soccer supporters that they cannot remain beyond their allotted time at the 2026 World Cup – otherwise they might encounter ‘ICE Barbie’.
Next summer's major soccer event will be jointly hosted by the United States along with neighboring countries Canada and Mexico.
Over 5 million enthusiasts worldwide are anticipated to journey to the event. Donald Trump has guaranteed a 'flawless experience' for guests visiting the USA.
At a White House gathering on Tuesday, Vance reinforced that sentiment, asserting 'all are welcome.'
However, the vice president also conveyed a strong warning to those considering staying in the country past the conclusion of the event.
Everyone is more than welcome to attend and enjoy this fantastic event," Vance stated. "We encourage them to join us for celebration and watch the matches. However, once the scheduled time ends, we kindly ask them to head back home; otherwise, they might find themselves having a discussion with Secretary Noem.
Kristi Noem serves as Trump's Homeland Security Secretary and has earned nicknames such as 'ICE Barbie' and 'American Badass.'
Recently, Noem has done so. teamed up with ICE officers during their operations to remove immigrants as part of Trump's initiative for widespread deportations.
'Individuals of this kind will keep being expelled from our streets,' Noem stated during a notable raid in New York City.
Vance's remarks were backed by Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, who cautioned visitors against 'exceeding the duration allowed by your visa.'
On Tuesday, Andrew Guiliani was appointed as the leader of Trump 'The task force for the 2026 World Cup.'
Giuliani, the son of former New York Mayor and longtime Trump ally Rudy, served as the Special Assistant to the President and Associate Director of the Office of Public Liaison during Trump's first term.
That position involved organizing sports teams' trips. White House But now he will be responsible for managing the globe's top soccer players on United States soil come next summer.
