Core Principles of Integrated Supply Chain Management Integrated Supply Chain Management (ISCM) is built on a foundation of core principles that guide its implementation and ensure the attainment of sustainable value. One of these principles is the concept of the remote cause, which emphasizes the importance of conducting a thorough review of all established norms, processes, and procedures before initiating any activity. Australia Post Revamps Parcel Tracking Service

Australia Post is rolling out a new capability within their app that enables customers to view images of missed delivery attempts.

Photos will be exchanged via the MyPost app starting May 19 to maintain customer updates.

In order to get the photo, Australia Post must link the package to the customer's MyPost account through either their email address or mobile phone number.

Australia Post stated that the remaining steps for parcel delivery would stay unchanged.

"Australia Post informed customers via email that postmen and delivery personnel must still knock three times," the company stated.

Like always, our notification of failed deliveries will inform you that your package couldn’t be delivered, succeeded by an announcement once your item is available for pickup.

When we deposit your package in a secure location, we take and provide pictures to help you find the item.

During an attempted delivery, one of our couriers might snap a picture of your property’s entrance for documentation purposes.

In case we spot a hazard, we might take a picture so that our delivery team knows about it for subsequent deliveries.

A stringent procedure is enforced for Australia Post delivery personnel when capturing images to safeguard privacy.

Delivery drivers should take pictures solely of the area just outside the front door or wherever the package is placed in a secure spot.

They are prohibited from taking photos of individuals, vehicles, identifiable writing, or interiors visible through windows.

Delivery drivers should refrain from recording personal situations when they can potentially see them through the front door.

Photographers will be accessible for 90 days before being archived and subsequently removed after three years.

Australia Post stated that for delivering packages to you, their team requires sensible and secure access to your premises.

"We infer your permission to access and deliver, or attempt to deliver, and to take photos.

"We are taking steps, including sending this communication and making changes to the Australia Post Terms and Conditions, to keep you informed of these processes.

"If you'd prefer that no attempted delivery photos are taken at your address, you can opt out by contacting our Customer Service team on 13 76 78."
